India and New Zealand will sign a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) on April 27 in New Delhi.
The pact aims to double bilateral trade to USD 5 billion in five years and attract USD 20 billion investment over 15 years.
India will get zero-duty access for 100% of its exports; New Zealand gets tariff cuts on 95% of its products (excluding sensitive items like dairy and sugar).
It includes a dedicated visa pathway for up to 5,000 skilled Indian professionals annually.
