Bank of Baroda has partnered with Reliance Jio to introduce ‘bob World Lite’ app for feature phone users, especially on JioPhone devices.
The lightweight app enables UPI payments, money transfers, bill payments, and recharges using simple keypad navigation.
It is accessible to customers of any bank and aims to bridge the digital divide in rural and semi-urban areas.
The initiative promotes financial inclusion and supports India’s push towards a less-cash economy.
