Union Coal Minister G. Kishan Reddy has announced that the operation of Begumpet railway station in Hyderabad will be entirely carried out by the women employees of South Central Railway.
The modernization of the station is being conducted under the Amrit Bharat Station scheme, with an expenditure of 400 million rupees in two phases, and the work is 90% complete.
Approximately 320 billion rupees are being invested in the modernization of 40 railway stations in Telangana and 22 new railway projects.
