  • Union Coal Minister G. Kishan Reddy has announced that the operation of Begumpet railway station in Hyderabad will be entirely carried out by the women employees of South Central Railway. 
  • The modernization of the station is being conducted under the Amrit Bharat Station scheme, with an expenditure of 400 million rupees in two phases, and the work is 90% complete. 
  • Approximately 320 billion rupees are being invested in the modernization of 40 railway stations in Telangana and 22 new railway projects.
