Yuzvendra Chahal has become the highest leading wicket-taker for India in the T20Is history surpassing Bhuvaneshvar Kumar.
The leg-spinner achieved the landmark during the second T20I against New Zealand in Lucknow on Sunday, January 29.
Yuzvendra Chahal took 91 wickets in 75* matches.
He needs nine more scalps to complete 100 wickets.
New Zealand’s Tim Southee is the highest wicket-taker in T20Is, with 134 scalps in 107 matches.
Shakib Al Hasan, Rashid Khan, Ish Sodhi and Lasith Malinga are the other bowlers who have at least 100 wickets in the shortest format.
