The Ministry of Ayush has unveiled “Yoga 365” during Yoga Mahotsav–2026 to transform yoga from an annual celebration into a daily habit. Despite 95% awareness across India, regular practice remains low. To combat this, the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) has partnered with digital platforms to provide free, guided online sessions.
The initiative integrates with existing programs like the Y-Break for corporate employees and therapeutic modules for non-communicable diseases. By leveraging technology, the government aims to embed yoga into the national culture of wellness, targeting physical fitness and mental clarity year-round.
