  • The World Economic Forum taking place in Davos, Switzerland released the 18th edition of the Global Risk Report 2023 based on the 2022-2023 Global Risks Perception Survey (GRPS).
  • The World Economic Forum’s annual Global Risks Report has highlighted the cost of living crisis as the biggest short-term risk facing the world right now, with climate change as the biggest long-term threat.
  • This year’s edition was produced with professional services firm Marsh McLennan and Zurich Insurance Group.
  • The WEF Global Risks Report ranked the ‘cost of living crisis’ in first place among all the global risks on the basis of its severity over the short term.
