Former Army Chief V K Singh was sworn in as the new Governor of Mizoram on 16 January 2025.
Singh is the 25th governor of Mizoram since it attained full statehood in 1987.
Singh, a former Union minister, replaces Hari Babu Kambhampati, who has been appointed as the governor of Odisha.
