  • Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari inaugurated Goa's new Zuari bridge. 
  • The bridge is an important link between North and South Goa. 
  • This 13.20-kilometer eight-lane bridge costing 2530 Crores across Zuari River from Bambolim to Verna. 
  • The bridge is also the second largest cable stayed bridge in India, first being Mumbai's Bandra Worli sealink.
