B.S. Yediyurappa, the former Chief Minister of Karnataka, honoured with the 'Super Corona Warrior' award during a ceremony in Honnali, near Davanagere.
When Yediyurappa was Chief Minister, he was afflicted with Corona twice.
The former Chief Minister took a number of proactive efforts to effectively manage the pandemic's initial and second waves.
At the event, 5,200 Corona fighters were honoured, including health workers, Asha activists, Anganawadi workers, and others.
