Shubman Gill became the first cricketer in history to score four centuries in his debut Test series as captain, achieving the milestone during the final Test against England at Old Trafford. Previously, cricket legends like Bradman, Chappell, Kohli, Armstrong, and Smith had only scored three centuries each in similar circumstances. Gill now also holds the record for the most centuries by a captain in a Test series against England.
