Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) Ltd launched the seventh warship “INS Abhay” out of the eight anti-submarine warfare shallow watercraft being built for the Indian Navy, which was christened by Sandhya Pendharkar.
INS Abhay, a potent anti-submarine shallow watercraft, capable of operating in waters as deep as 2.7 meters, mine laying, and coastal surveillance, is equipped with an anti-submarine setup comprising of light torpedoes, ASW rockets, and sonar equipment.
