  • On World Tuberculosis Day, the Ministry of Ayush and Department of Biotechnology announced a collaborative clinical study on using Ayurveda as an adjunct therapy for tuberculosis treatment. The announcement was made by Jitendra Singh and Prataprao Jadhav at Vigyan Bhawan.
  • The study aims to evaluate the safety, efficacy, and tolerability of Ayurveda alongside standard anti-TB treatment. It focuses on improving recovery, nutrition, and quality of life. This initiative highlights India’s push for evidence-based integration of traditional medicine with modern science to strengthen TB elimination efforts.
