Seema made history by winning India’s first-ever women’s 5000m medal at the World University Games in Rhine-Ruhr, clocking 15:35.86 minutes to secure silver — her season’s best and second-fastest time ever. Meanwhile, Sahil Jadhav claimed gold in men’s compound archery. The Indian archery team concluded their campaign with five medals including silver by Preneet Kaur and team medals in mixed, men's, and women's compound categories.
