23-year-old Sarah Gill made history by becoming the first transgender doctor of Pakistan.
Sara has managed to pass the final examination of MBBS from Karachi University.
Sara also runs the NGO Gender Interactive Alliance.
In recent years, there have been empowerment measures for the transgender population in Pakistan. Their registration as transgender citizens has been started. A special law has been made in 2018 to protect their rights and prevent discrimination.
