Kerala cadre senior IAS officer Sanjay Kaul has officially assumed the role of Managing Director and Group CEO of Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) in Gandhinagar. GIFT City is India’s first International Financial Services Centre and a model smart city initiative of national significance. Kaul, who hails from Gujarat and succeeds Tapan Ray (retired IAS officer), brings over 20 years of expertise in public policy, infrastructure, technology, and finance. He expressed his vision to strengthen GIFT City’s global stature through strategic initiatives and international partnerships.
