Rajkumar Hirani was honored with the Madhya Pradesh government's National Kishore Kumar Award for 2023 in Khandwa, receiving a Rs. 5 lakh cash prize for his contributions in script writing, direction, and playback singing, while paying tribute to Kumar as his favorite singer.
