The Reserve Bank of India has limited any single regulated entity — including banks, NBFCs, and All-India Financial Institutions — to investing a maximum of 10% of the corpus in any Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) scheme. Collectively, all REs cannot exceed 20% of a scheme’s corpus, as per updated 2025 investment directions.
