  • Omar Abdullah, Vice President of Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) for the second time, becoming the first CM of the Union Territory (UT) since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019.
  • Lieutenant Governor Manoj Saxena and Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha administered the oath of office to Abdullah and his council of ministers at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) in Srinagar.
