Omar Abdullah, Vice President of Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) for the second time, becoming the first CM of the Union Territory (UT) since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Saxena and Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha administered the oath of office to Abdullah and his council of ministers at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) in Srinagar.
