The third edition of the Indian Navy’s Naval Innovation and Indigenisation Seminar, Swavlamban 2024, was inaugurated by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi in New Delhi, with 115 stalls showcasing innovations in areas like AI, autonomous systems, and quantum technology.
Swavlamban 2024 encourages innovation through the Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) initiative, with the Indian Navy receiving over 2,000 proposals from Indian industry, converting them into 155 prototype challenges and collaborating with over 200 MSMEs and startups.
