Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) superstar Lionel Messi has been crowned the 'World's Best Player' for 2022 by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).
He came out on top with a whopping 275 points, leaving his club teammate Kylian Mbappe in second position with 35 points.
Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema occupied the third position with 30 points. Meanwhile, Luka Modric came fourth with 15 points and Erling Haaland fifth with five points.
