The Henley Passport Index for the first quarter of 2022 has been updated, showed an improvement for Indian passport-holders. Compared to 2021, India’s passport now ranks at 83rd position in the Henley Passport Index, climbing seven places from 90th in 2021.
The current rankings show the strength of passports for the first quarter of 2022.
India is behind Rwanda and Uganda, and jointly shares the position with the African island nation, Sao Tome and Principe.
Henley Passport Index rankings are based on data provided by the International Air Transport Authority (IATA).
