India's foreign exchange reserves crossed the USD 700 billion mark for the first time, reaching USD 704.885 billion as of September 27, 2024, according to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
The reserves surged by USD 12.588 billion in just one week, serving as a critical buffer to shield India's economy from global financial uncertainties and shocks.
