World No.4 Iga Swiatek claimed her first Wimbledon title in stunning fashion, defeating 13th seed Amanda Anisimova 6-0, 6-0 in just 57 minutes on Centre Court. This is the first time in the Open Era that a Wimbledon women’s final was won without the victor conceding a single game. With this win, Swiatek secures her sixth Grand Slam title and becomes the first Polish player to win a Wimbledon singles crown. It was also her 100th Grand Slam match win.
