Neeru Yadav, a.k.a. “Hockey Wali Sarpanch,” has launched a fresh effort to support the farmers of Lambi Ahir Village.
Yadav and NABARD have signed an agreement to launch the Farmers Producers Organization (FPO) with the help of SIIRD (Society of Indian Institute of Rural Development).
‘Sachhi Saheli Mahila Agro Producer Company Limited’ is the 15th such FPO launched by NABARD in Rajasthan where Yadav has taken the responsibility as Board of Directors of this company.
Neeru Yadav has volunteered her salary in order to teach local girls hockey skills and start a state-level squad.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) Scheme, she successfully taught 10 girls and assisted in placing them all in MNCs.
