India’s gross GST collections surged to a record ₹22.08 lakh crore in FY 2024–25, reflecting a 100% increase from FY21’s ₹11.37 lakh crore. This 9.4% YoY rise also marks the highest-ever collection since the GST regime began in 2017, signifying robust economic compliance and tax base expansion.
