The Union Cabinet led by PM Narendra Modi has approved the Employment Linked Incentive (ELI) Scheme. This initiative is designed to stimulate job creation and improve workforce employability and social security. While applicable to all sectors, the scheme will particularly emphasize the manufacturing sector to strengthen industrial employment.
