DTH company Tata Sky changed its name

Tata Sky has announced that it is changing its name to ‘Tata Play’ after over 15 years of its existence.
The new name signifies the expanded range of products and services offered by the company.
Currently, Tata Sky has a total of 23 million connections and 19 million active subscribers.
Tata Sky, the leading direct-to-home (DTH) company is a joint venture between the Tata Group and the Walt Disney Company.
Tata Sky's operations were started in 2004.
