Ashleigh Barty, the world's number one player, has created history. She has won the Australian Open title for the first time.
Ashleigh Barty became the first Australian woman in 44 years to win a Grand Slam title at home after she defeated Danielle Collins 6-3 7-6 at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne.
This is Ashleigh Barty's third Grand Slam title. Earlier, he won the French Open in 2019 and Wimbledon in 2021.
