  • The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a loan of US$434.25 million (about Rs 3,600 crore) to enhance renewable energy capacity and improve energy security in Assam.
  • This project aims to help Assam develop a renewable energy roadmap and increase its solar capacity, supporting the state’s target of achieving 3,000 MW of renewable energy by 2030.
