Cricket legends Yuvraj Singh and Harmanpreet Kaur were honoured on December 11, 2025, as stadium stands at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh, were named after them. Inaugurated by Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann ahead of the India–South Africa T20I, the tribute celebrates Yuvraj’s 2007 T20 World Cup heroics and Harmanpreet’s leadership in India’s maiden Women’s ODI World Cup win. The event also marked the first men’s international match at Mullanpur Stadium, with cash rewards recognising sporting excellence.
