The University of Patanjali has been designated as India’s first Yoga and Ayurveda-based Cluster Centre under the Ministry of Culture’s Gyan Bharatam Mission. Formalised through an MoU in Haridwar, the recognition entrusts the university with mentoring 20 institutions for preservation, digitisation, research and dissemination of ancient manuscripts. Having digitised over 42 lakh manuscript pages, the university will play a key role in safeguarding India’s traditional knowledge and linking it with modern scholarship.
