India’s philanthropic spirit continues to shine as Shiv Nadar, founder of HCL Technologies, leads the Hurun India Philanthropy List 2025 with donations worth ₹2,708 crore, mainly towards education and social development. Mukesh Ambani follows with ₹626 crore, while the Bajaj family ranks third at ₹446 crore. Rohini Nilekani emerges as India’s top woman philanthropist, giving ₹204 crore and Zerodha’s Nikhil and Nithin Kamath are the youngest major donors. Overall, India’s top philanthropists contributed over ₹10,380 crore in FY2025, reflecting an inspiring rise in large-scale giving.
