Saudi Arabia–China Sign Mutual Visa Exemption Pact

Saudi Arabia and China have signed a mutual visa exemption agreement for holders of diplomatic and official passports during Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi’s visit to Riyadh, coinciding with 35 years of diplomatic ties. The pact will ease official travel and strengthen diplomatic engagement. Both sides reviewed progress under their comprehensive strategic partnership, reaffirmed the One China policy, supported a two-state solution for Palestine, and highlighted deeper cooperation in trade, energy, regional stability and global affairs.
