  • The theme of the Republic Day Parade 2026 at Kartavya Path will commemorate 150 years of Vande Mataram. Paintings created by artist Tejendra Kumar Mitra in 1923, depicting the verses of the song, will be displayed along the parade route.
  • Pan-India band performances by the Armed Forces and CAPFs will be held from January 19 to 26. Around 10,000 special guests from various walks of life will attend the event, while 2,500 artists will participate in cultural performances. The Presidents of the European Council and the European Commission will be the Chief Guests. The Indian Army will also present a Battle Array Format for the first time, with a total of 30 tableaux on display.
