Superstar Rajinikanth has been conferred with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award this year. He will be conferred the prestigious award for his outstanding contribution to the world of Indian cinema.
Rajinikanth made his debut in 1975 with K Balachander's Apoorva Ragangal and has completed over 45 years in Kollywood.
He had also been honoured with the Padma Bhushan & Padma Vibhushan in the past.
