  • A 60-member Indian Army contingent, including troops from the MAHAR Regiment and Indian Air Force personnel, has left for Uzbekistan.
  • The 7th edition of bilateral Exercise DUSTLIK will be held from April 12-25, 2026 at Gurumsaray Field Training Area, Namangan.
  • Focus areas include joint operations in semi-mountainous terrain, tactical drills and countering unlawful armed groups.
  • The exercise aims to enhance interoperability and strengthen defence cooperation between India and Uzbekistan.
