Banaras Hindu University (BHU) secured first place at the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) National Moot Court Competition 2026 held at Integral University, Lucknow.
Around 40 teams from across India participated in the three-day event from April 9-11, 2026.
BHU won a cash prize of ₹25,000 along with trophies and medals for excellence in advocacy, research and presentation.
Chandigarh University finished as runner-up with ₹11,000.
Special awards were given for Best Researcher, Best Memorial and Best Speaker.
