  • Banaras Hindu University (BHU) secured first place at the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) National Moot Court Competition 2026 held at Integral University, Lucknow.
  • Around 40 teams from across India participated in the three-day event from April 9-11, 2026.
  • BHU won a cash prize of ₹25,000 along with trophies and medals for excellence in advocacy, research and presentation.
  • Chandigarh University finished as runner-up with ₹11,000.
  • Special awards were given for Best Researcher, Best Memorial and Best Speaker.
