·         The promising R Raja Rithvik of Hyderabad became the Grandmaster of Chess after crossing the ELO rating of 2500.

·         The 17-year-old won the GM title at the Vezarkepzo Grandmaster Chess Tournament in Budapest, Hungary.

·         In this way he became the 70th Grandmaster of the country.
