  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 35 pressure swing adsorption (PSA) oxygen plants established through the PM CARES fund.
  • This was launched across 35 states and union territories at an event held at AIIMS Rishikesh in Uttarakhand.
  • Across the country, 1,224 PSA oxygen plants were funded through the PM CARES fund.
  • Over 1,100 plants have been approved, producing over 1,750 MT of oxygen per day.
