A two-day National Conference on Land Administration and Disaster Management was held at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, bringing together policymakers, experts, and stakeholders from across the country. Inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the event highlighted the digitisation of land records, citizen-centric governance, and the use of indigenous technology to ensure land rights for all. Key initiatives launched included new revenue offices, the Revenue Diary, the Integrated Land Administration System, and the distribution of SVAMITVA cards to nomadic tribes. Organised by the Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development, the conference featured thematic discussions on technology-driven solutions, disaster resilience, and inclusive land governance, playing a significant role in strengthening land administration and disaster preparedness nationwide.
