Nagaland Statehood Day 2025

Nagaland celebrates its Statehood Day every year on 1st December, marking its recognition as the 16th state of India. Since attaining statehood in 1963, the region has played a significant role in promoting indigenous culture, biodiversity conservation, and regional peace-building. On this occasion, cultural programs and the Hornbill Festival are held from 1st to 10th December, featuring traditional dances, music, sports, handicrafts, and local cuisine.
