The Ministry of MSME has intensified efforts to promote entrepreneurship among Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities through the National SC-ST Hub (NSSH) Scheme. Implemented by NSIC, the scheme focuses on capacity building, access to finance, skill development and market linkages. A key feature is support for the mandatory 4% public procurement from SC/ST enterprises, enabling greater participation in government tenders and inclusive growth in India’s MSME ecosystem.
