The Ministry of Labour & Employment has released the draft National Labour & Employment Policy – Shram Shakti Niti 2025 for public consultation, envisioning a fair, inclusive, and future-ready workforce aligned with Viksit Bharat @2047. Rooted in śrama dharma, the policy aims to ensure protection, productivity, and participation for all workers while supporting enterprise growth. Key features include universal social security, technology-enabled job facilitation via National Career Service (NCS), women and youth empowerment, green jobs and integration of EPFO, ESIC, e-Shram, and NCS into a unified digital Labour Stack.
