Category : State Published on: December 04 2025
Karnataka has launched the upgraded e-Swathu 2.0 platform to digitise property management in gram panchayats, regularising around 95 lakh rural properties and potentially generating up to ₹2,000 crore in revenue. Inaugurated by CM Siddaramaiah, the system centralises property records, enables digital e-Khata documents (Forms 11A & 11B), and streamlines tax assessment and collection under the 2025 Tax, Rates, and Fees Rules. With doorstep delivery of services through Bapuji Centres and a dedicated helpline, the platform aims to enhance transparency, convenience, and Panchayat Raj Act compliance for rural residents.
