India has achieved a major milestone in aerospace self-reliance with the launch of the Hansa-3 (Next Generation), its first locally developed pilot trainer aircraft. Unveiled by Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh in Bengaluru, the aircraft designed by CSIR–NAL and manufactured by Pioneer Clean Amps Pvt. Ltd. features an all-composite airframe, advanced glass cockpit, and low operating costs. With a ₹150 crore production facility in Andhra Pradesh, around 100 aircraft will be produced annually, boosting pilot training capacity and advancing India’s Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.
