A high-level Indian delegation led by Shri P. Sivakumar, Member Secretary of the Central Silk Board, visited Georgia to enhance cooperation in sericulture, textiles, apparel, and carpets. Participating in the 11th BACSA International Conference – CULTUSERI 2025, India showcased innovations like the “5-in-1 Silk Stole” and highlighted its leadership in traditional silk knowledge. The delegation engaged with Georgian institutions and government officials, exploring trade expansion, joint research, and industry collaborations, marking a significant step in India’s textile diplomacy and bilateral partnership with Georgia.
