India Strengthens Development Partnership with Myanmar through QIPs

India has handed over three Quick Impact Projects (QIPs) to Myanmar’s Mandalay Region, reinforcing its people-centric regional cooperation. The projects include a modern Indian rapier loom to boost vocational education in weaving, a new building for a Girls Training School to promote women’s education and skill development, and a clean energy initiative using agricultural waste for rural electrification and environmental sustainability. These projects highlight India’s commitment to skill enhancement, gender empowerment, renewable energy, and sustainable development in Southeast Asia.
