The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, launched the Sugamya Bharat App at Purple Fest in Goa. Developed with SBI Foundation, NAB Delhi, ISTEM and Mission Accessibility, it features screen reader compatibility, voice navigation, multilingual support and a grievance redressal module. The app acts as a one-stop digital accessibility hub, promoting inclusion and empowering users to navigate public services and spaces effectively.
