Italy’s Jannik Sinner defeated Jiri Lehecka 6-4, 6-4 in the Miami Open 2026 final.
He became the first player since Roger Federer (2017) to win both Indian Wells and Miami in the same season.
Sinner achieved the rare feat without dropping a single set across both tournaments.
The 24-year-old extended his winning streak to 34 consecutive sets at ATP Masters 1000 level.
His season record improved to 19 wins and 2 losses.
He joined an elite list of eight players including Federer, Djokovic, Agassi and Sampras.
Aryna Sabalenka also completed the Sunshine Double in women’s tennis this year.
