External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar stated that a total of 27 tonnes of relief material have been delivered to Colombo by air and sea. In a social media post, he mentioned that more relief material is on the way to assist the communities affected by the cyclone. Additionally, two Urban Search and Rescue Teams comprising 80 National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel have been deployed. The Indian Air Force also reported that essential rations and critical supplies have been delivered. Under Operation Sagar Bandhu, India has strengthened relief efforts in Sri Lanka, with the Air Force deploying one C-130 and one IL-76 aircraft from Hindan Air Base last night.
